Classic Advantages

It’s covered up to $10,000 per item or set up to a total of $40,000

What’s covered

We cover loss or damage to watches and personal ornaments such as necklaces, rings or bracelets typically made from or containing jewels, precious metal or antique jewellery.

We have flexible limits on these items – highlighted above. You are able to choose to increase this limit for an extra premium. When you do this, they are considered ‘Specified contents items’ and are shown on your certificate of insurance. The amount shown on your insurance certificate will be the most we will pay for any one incident for a specified contents item.

Remember that when you lodge a claim on and item with a replacement value of over $3,000, we will ask for proof of purchase, a professional valuation and a photograph.

What’s not covered

We don't cover jewellery boxes or uncut and unset gems, gold or silver nuggets, bullion and/or ingots. This cover is for items in your home only. If you have valuable personal belongings that you usually carry with you away from your home, you can cover them for accidental loss or damage in and outside of your home for an extra premium.

You can find out more information about the policy features mentioned above in the Product Disclosure Statement.
