What’s great about lock replacement (contents) cover is that you can lodge a claim, even if accidental loss or damage is not caused by an insured event. If you lodge a claim under this additional cover, no excess applies.

What’s covered

We’ll cover the necessary costs of replacing or recoding locks to the external doors or windows of the home or unit at the insured address if the keys to those locks are stolen anywhere in Australia or New Zealand during the period of insurance. The most we will pay for any one incident is displayed in the table above.

What’s not covered

There are instances where you will not be covered under this policy, like we will not cover the cost of the replacement of only the keys.

You can read about the other instances where your policy will not cover accidental loss or accidental damage to your contents in the Product Disclosure Statement.
