Green thumbs rejoice! There are certain instances where your pot plants will be covered under Suncorp’s Contents Insurance policy should loss or damage occur due to an insured event.
What policy covers pot plants
What’s covered
We cover pot plants under our Contents cover (not Home). However, know that pot plants are not covered under additional cover for your home ‘Damage to gardens and plants’. You can learn more about this and other policy exclusions in the Product Disclosure Statement.
What’s not covered
There are some instances where you will not be covered. Such as, if there is any gradual weathering of pot plants. As above, you can learn more about this and other policy exclusions in the PDS.
