What policy provides cover
* Net cost is the amount paid after deducting any government subsidy to which you are entitled at the date of the loss, whether you claim the subsidy or not. You must supply us with proof of the amount paid before we will pay you
What’s covered
If you have a home claim that has been accepted and we authorise a member of our supplier network to undertake the repair or rebuild, we’ll cover costs associated with the purchase and installation of resiliency building enhancements such as cyclone rated shutters or ember protection options, if the assessed quote to repair or rebuild is more than $50,000 or 10% of the home sum insured, whichever is higher. Know that the most we will pay for any one incident for our levels of cover are outlined in the table above.
What’s not covered
There are some instances where you will not be covered. That is, coverage will not extend to any amount covered under the additional cover ‘Other repair/rebuilding costs’ to comply with the latest building regulations.
