What policy provides cover for Suncorp Insurance Home Assist?
What’s covered?
Suncorp Insurance Home Assist is an emergency assistance service that provides you with 3 emergency call-outs per policy year when you need urgent assistance with a sudden or unforeseen incident at the home that requires a plumber, electrician, locksmith or carpenter to resolve.
This cover is not available for the first 24 hours after it is added to your policy and it cannot be removed mid-term.
There are some geographical limitations that apply to the availability of cover, along with terms and conditions and other exclusions which you can read about in the Product Disclosure Statement (PDS).
What’s not covered?
Suncorp Insurance Home Assist does not act as a general maintenance or preventative service. For example, it does not cover painting, or replacing light bulbs or tap washers. Also, it is not a disaster response service. There are other limitations and exclusions to this optional coverage, which you can learn more about in the Product Disclosure Statement (PDS).
