Your way of life is your way of life. Unfortunately, when an insured event has occurred, it can disrupt this. That’s why knowing what coverage there is for supplementary living expenses under Suncorp Home Insurance if your home cannot be lived in after an insured event can help.
What policy provides cover
What’s covered
If your insured address cannot be lived in after an insured event, we will cover the reasonable increase in your normal living expenses necessary to maintain your normal standard of living during the repair or rebuilding process.
Know that the most we will pay for any one incident for Classic Extras and Classic Advantages levels of cover is outlined in the table above. Unfortunately, we do not offer this for our Classic cover.
What’s not covered
There are some instances where you will not receive cover. For instance, we will not cover expenses covered under any other additional cover or optional cover. You can learn more about this coverage and other exclusions in the Product Disclosure Statement.
