Whenever you are building a home or doing renovations, you know that it takes some time to finish the job. This is why it may be comforting to know that uninstalled building fittings, fixtures and materials can be insured under Suncorp Home Insurance. Limits do apply.

What policy provides cover

What’s covered

We cover uninstalled building fittings, fixtures and materials to be used for the building but only when kept in a locked and secured building at the insured address. Things like tiles stored in the shed or an oven that is not yet installed.

Know that limits do apply. The most we will pay for uninstalled building fixtures, fittings and materials for our levels of cover is outlined in the table above.

What’s not covered
